Course Curriculum Overview
UIET follows the syllabus and curriculum of IITs. Syllabus of all 6 branches is quite refined. The course curriculum is excellent. Much focus is on Practical Learning. Yes there are research initiatives taken by the college. The syllabus doesn't even matter in college, frankly speaking. So its on how you take things, what's your ultimate goal and the type of guidance you are seeking and not the syllabus that matters.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college do provide an internship here for 6 months in 3rd year.Actually I am an 1st year studenet and haven't experienced but after discussing from seniors that it was just helpful in getting practical knowledge and a lot to learn.The average stipend here is around 20,000 INR.
Placement Experience
Placement here is getting better every year. Almost 90% of the CSE students got placed here in amazing companies like Amazon, Honda etc. All circuital branches have good placements from here. The Average package is around 3.5 lakhs.
Hostel Facilities
Majority of hostels in PU have old architecture since they had been built many years ago. Small rooms, balcony with each room characterize the main structure of the hostels. However, one or two hostels are better in terms of room size and architecture. WiFi facility is available in hostels 24*7 high-speed WiFi.
Faculty
Faculty in the College are well regarded for teaching and research. They are called upon to be part of Academic Councils, Seminars and Teaching programs. Additionally, the College has a large number of Ad Hoc teachers to ensure teaching support and academic rigor.
