Remarks

If you really wish to gain knowledge and have a nice career in engineering please don't get into this college. I'd say don't get into any college affiliated under GTU- Gujarat Technological University.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE, I chose this college because it is one of the few good colleges in my city. Is at a better location than other colleges. Has a decent Campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is affiliated to GTU and i must say its pathetic. They just focus on rote learning and not on real knowledge. No faculty bothers about what you're learning what your doubts are or anything for that matter. They just focus on completing the term work. They are not creating engineers but copying machines. All they make you do is copying the content of the textbook as assignments.

Internships Opportunities

Not at all. There are no vacations in between the semester and they dont arrange you any kind of internship and because there are no vacations you wont be able to do any kind of internship on your own.

Placement Experience

Not very decent. I would say below average, The college is making fool out of people. Displaying fake placement details Hoardings about good placements are everywhere around the campus and its all a lie. You'd realise that after getting into the college.

We usually have an Annual Tech fest and Cultural fest. The tech fest is a good event you get to learn many things like robotics and all .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. You hardly get any facilities for what you pay for.

The GTU provides scholarship.

Campus Life

LOL, The campus life is average not very good. Sports facilities are good though.

Exam Structure

Not very hectic. You just cant realy on how they evaluate the answer sheets. Some students pass even when they have just copied the same answer 10 times in the sheet and some dont pass even after writing the proper answer.

Not so good. They don't have proper knowledge. Only a few good teachers are there and if you're lucky you'd have them as your subject teachers. The rest just want to complete the course no matter if the student is getting it or not. You wont get any pract

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.
