Honest College Review

The curriculum is very well defined it focus on every aspect that a student should be focusing on .And the courses in our curriculum are must and should for every student in our branch . Our curriculum focuses on many real world applications and entrepreneurship and it also focuses on placement and training. I think the course curriculum should mostly focus on those topics which are really needed for the students. The exams level are not tha tough .If students listen to the classes they can write the exams very well

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements . Companies like Accenture , TCS, Wipro etc visit for college and 60%-70% people are being placed with a very average salary.The Highest package in the previous academic year is 39Lac and the average package is 5Lac . My plan is to get a very good campus placement and also I would like to try for other companies off campus

The tution fee is 145000 . But for those who have below 10k rank in EAMCET they get scholarship and they have 0 fee and for those whose rank is 10k-30k they get scholarship of 35000 . And for scheduled castes they get complete scholarship if there rank is below 20k .

We have a annual fest every year named ORTUS which is held two days with a dj night and live concert . And there are many more technical fests like SAVISKAR , FESTTECHNO etc ... Our college has the best library, which has vast collection of books and journals. Our college is the best in the sports , students interested in sports are always encouraged and every year an inter college sports meet is conducted and our college has its own cricket ground . There are many clubs for dance , literature, art , sports, journalism etc

Our hostel facilities are ok , I mean it's not that good we have common washrooma for 8-10 rooms .And AC is provided for only 4 months. We are provided with breakfast, lunch , snacks and dinner , the food here is ok .The hostel food is not that healthy. Hostel fee is 160000 which is too much and normal people can't afford that much fee . And we have PG's nearby in Shamshabad which has half of our hostel price within 75000 we can accommodate and get all the facilities like washing machines, wifi , food etc ...

Our college takes admissions on the basis of EAMCET rank , for general category the rank should be 5k-6k for CSE . You can check all the information regarding application on college website vardhaman.org The difficulty level of exams is not that hard , we have two mid exams every sem and one semester end examination .mid exams will be conducted for 2 hrs and sem exam for 3hrs .Mid exams will be conducted just two months after the new semester starts and there will be a gap of 45 days for the next mid exam followed by sem exams I think our college should give opportunities for the rankers below it's scale .
