Course Curriculum Overview

The course was very good. Unlike other subjects, we have importance for both practicals as well as theory and they send us for weekend training also to different star hotels.

Internships Opportunities

We had lots of internships. 1st year was full of weekend training. In 2nd year, we had our Industrial Exposure Training for 6 months and in 3rd year we did our Specialisation Training for 4 months.

Placement Experience

Everyone got placed from the college. Properties like Taj, Oberois, Hyatt, Marriott visited the campus for the placement and were offering good packages.

College Events

We had lots of fests like food fest, Chocolate fest, football, badminton etc All these were conducted among all the other colleges in ooty.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was ok. Because we were having accommodations in a 4 star hotel. So the fees would be accordingly.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who have got 80% above in the 12th class will be getting the scholarship

Hostel Facilities

I was staying in the hostel. They have given us a place to stay in a 4 star hotel where you get all the services. A hospital is there on the same road in case of any emergencies. And the food is amazing. As we have students coming from all over India and abroad, we have a mix culture of food.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Faculty

Faculties are so friendly and everyone is graduated and has experience from abroad. All the sessions are worth it.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is a famous one and it is studied by many higher officials. The faculty is very good and talented, students ratio is 500:900. All teachers were educated by Ph.D. and each teacher has their own capability. Exam papers are very good and were easy to pass the since where questions were interactive.
