Course Curriculum Overview
The B.Sc Computer Science curriculum at Kalasalingam University is well-structured and relevant,covering fundamental topics likeprogramming languages. However, there's a room for improvement in emerging topics. Exams are held regularly, providing a fair assesment, although some may find them challenging due to the depth of the content.
Placement Experience
During my final semester, we were started attending palcement drives. The department and the faculty members really helped a lot. On an average of Rs.4,50,000 was the package in the companies. Around 40% of our students placed in good companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
B.Sc Computer Science course fee-Rs.35,000 per year, Hostel fees- Rs.60,500 per year for NON-AC 14 occupents is the starting fees range. Kalasalingam University offers government and others scholarships and campus employment oppurtunities
Campus Life
At Kalaslingam University campus life is vibrant and engaging. Annual festivals like SPARKZ and other events showcase lot of talents. Library offers array of books to students nd also students runs various groups and NGOs provide social interactions and experience.
Hostel Facilities
During my time(2020-2023), the hostel rooms were very good with clean rooms occupied of 5 persons. But the food quality was not upto the level comparing to other universities. The regstration made through online booking. There are PG within the radius of 2.5KM.
