- College campusand premises especially garden its very peaceful and all the programmes like culturals ,college day,sports etc. for transportation so many buses are there it is very helpful
- Behaviour and helping approach of tecahing and non teaching staffs and as well as doctors and our anaethesia technicians are also very helpful
- We have postings in skill lab that is very interesting we can learn new things and they will give us food also
Dislikes
- Placement is not there then during internship sunday also postings are there that is too hectic
- Timings- too long especially during internship and after that stipend giving by them is too less also
- They will not provide leave also during internship only 6casual leave they are providing
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually the specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course was the exam is not semester wise it is yearly and I thought it is very convinient for me to study and prepare for the exam.then all the things in curriculum was appropriate for me to chose this course.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is in our hospital only ,K S Hegde Medical Academy. It is a 6months of internship .As per our course we need to work in operation theatres, endoscopy, septic ot, cardiac ot, skill lab ,etc . It is very helpful to learn new things . We should assist during general, spinal, regional anaesthesia.so it will help us in future to be good at our profession.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure will vary according to the year.they will increase the fee structure per year . For me the fee structure was 115000/- per year so I paid tution fees 345000/-for 3years without exam fees and all . For exam fees and all we need to pay extra during the time of exam and uniform fees and all are separate only. So many scholarships (post matric scholarships scheme for minorities,SSP scholarships,etc) are there for the students within the state So it is very helpful but other states student's can't apply for that. Placements are not provided but 6monthd of internship is included with our course
Campus Life
Campus life is excellent.we will get so many programs and functions . It is full of celebrations . Culturals program ,College day,onam celebration,diwali festival,Christmas celebration and Christmas friend,and farewell,etc so many programs we will get so we can enjoy our life as a part of our studies. They provide every facilities in the class room like projectors, computers, boards and markers .we have sports day also it will be a 3day or 4day programme. And so many student run social groups, clubs, student portals and poster making such things are also there.
Admission
I found the course BSc in Anaesthesia and operation theatre technology in google which found interesting for me and I applied them through google only. then they mailed me about the course and fee structure then it was okay for me then I mailed them back and started the admission procedures . They will mail everything regarding the admission process and about the starting dates of classes
