- Vast campus: classrooms are of quite a huge size and well ventilated doesn't feel to be suffocated
- Transportation facilities: good transport facilities provided by college .buses goes to every part of city.
- Good computer labs : college provides good computer with decent specification which you can use for coding .
Dislikes
- Washroom are dirty.wasrooms are not that clean as compared to other college campus
- College timings are very long.its 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM which makes students get tired
- Wifi connection is not provided to the students
Course Curriculum Overview
This course provides us the subjects like C programming, Python, DSA which are really booming in IT sector. This course contains a subject named SEGC ( skill enhancement generic course ) which improves out aptitude and English part which can help us crack interviews in real life applications
Internships Opportunities
NTPC, TECH Mahindra, Indian railways, Indian airforce,bosch, TCS, REIL jaipur, jk , atrium, etc provide roles like software tester, software Engineer, etc. with the average stipend of 10000rs to 15000rs per month
Placement Experience
Placements opportunities are good in poornima University but not that great. Many companies visit campuslike TCS, WIPRO, IBM, etc. placements are conducted in 3 rounds aptitude round, coding round and interview. Decent placements are offered every year.but you have to work very hard for decent placement
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual academic fee is 1 lakh 5 thousand of the student, students can avail scholarship as per their 12th percentage. Yes scholarship are provided those who got good marks in class 12 i.e 60% for above 90percent marks in 12th and so on. Defence scholarship for wards of defence personnel of 50%. Average placement of 6 lpa
Campus Life
Our annual cultural fest is LAKSHAY which held in campus every year ,Hackathons are conducted frequently for the compute science . We have provided with a good library with decent amount of books varying from academic to self growth, etc. it is easily accessible, it's on our first floor in the academic block. We are provided with projectors and multiple PCs in the classroom for practical and visual understanding of the topic
Hostel Facilities
We have provide with a table, steel almirah, warm water in winter season , water cooler for drinking water in summers . Meals are provided 4 times, Breakfast, Lunch, evening snacks and dinner. There's a special meal every Sunday. Registration process for hostel facilities are very convenient, we can reach out to warden and he/she will guide us through the whole process. Hostels are affordable having different types of rooms, rooms with fan only, rooms with AC and rooms with duct cooling system.
Admission
You have to clear your 12 exams with any stream. You found your application form , fees on the website www.poornima.edu.in Yes scholarship are provided only those students who are belongs to army family and 12 base percentage
