Course Curriculum Overview
It allows students with non science background to go into IT fields. The duration is 3 years and you will learn basics of every programming language like C, C++, java, python C# php javascript and so on with framework like .net etc. The course is just like every engineering college, it is a bit outdated and is very basic but the teachers are good and really helpful. Weekly exams are conducted in the form of mcq to improve one's understanding.
Internships Opportunities
I am not sure if my college provides internship opportunities, you have to apply off campus. It does have a project part in final semester which improves understanding of various computer languages and frameworks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees is 13,000 rs every semester which is 26,000 per year but they also offer scholarship based on your grades ,the scholarship amount can go upto 13,000 a year. 26,000 every year includes everything such as sports fees tution fees library etc. MYSY scholarship offered by Gujarat University, also there are scholarship for EWS/SC/ST/OBC.
Campus Life
There are hackathon but college doesn't organize it, they can help you to register if you are interested. Annual festival Ehsaas is conducted which is very fun to watch and also many students participate in it in different categories such as Dance, singing, mime, drama etc. Classrooms have projector and every lab has AC. It provides various sports opportunities and tournaments annually, such as cricket, football, badminton, kabaddi, etc.
Admission
The admission process was fairly simple,I just applied for my desired course through Gujarat University portal as LJCCA is affiliated with Gujarat University. The cutoff for general was above 75% and for OBC it was 60% and for sc/st it was around 45%. Fees is 13,000/ semester that is 26,000 per year. You can find application form on Gujarat University portal after 12th boards exam, around may to june or mid july. Internal exams are conducted by college in every 5 month after the course of that semester has been completed and external exams or sem end exams are conducted after 1 month of internal exams, externals are conducted by Gujarat University itself. Areas for improvement in the admission process is that they should update their website.
