- Faculty are not that professional in terms of teaching or in management.
- Campus located far from the city around 11 to 15 km.
- campus is not fully functioning in terms of sports or in extra curriculur activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I love to do coding. I want to build my career in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The curriculum is well-organized based on a semester-wise system. Improvements are necessary in the lab curriculum as they are not as professional as those offered by the other colleges. There are two exam in each semester, so there is not that much load on us.However, the difficulty level of the exams is very high.
Internships Opportunities
From the start of the 4th semester, companies start visiting for internship opportunities. There are credits for students who are doing internships which help them boost there cgpa, Some students work with faculty as internship.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students became eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Flipkart, Yamaha, Amazon, Adobe, Oracle, Infosys, Oyo, and many more companies visited in 2022-24 total 181 number of offers made. In 2022-23, 53 is the higest pakage and 15.5LPA is the average pakege. in 2022-23, around 85% of students got placed. After getting a degree I will be preparing for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no increment in tuition fees, however, the one-time fee is high. Around 8 lakh 60 thousand INR is the cost of tuition fees. this includes all the service fees and other compulsory charges. Scholarships are available through government policies. For M.tech students jobs for laboratory roles are available and yes stipends are awarded.
Campus Life
Our Technical Fest, Techno Summit, was held for 3 days, but our cultural fest has not been held yet. Yes, all the books related to the curriculum are available in the library with the accessibility of journals. Classes are fully functioning with modern Technologies. No sports grounds and extracurricular activities are not properly offered on the campus. there are many student-run social groups, and clubs there which help in increasing student overall performance.
Hostel Facilities
All the rooms are well-equipped all the basic necessities are fulfilled. Mess food is not proper in taste although there is variety in food but the taste is not good. At the time of admission you can fill out the registration form for the hostel and the hostel is affordable here.
Admission
I got a seat in IIIT Kota by JEE. I qualified jee with rank 21525 and in the CSAB round I got this. Eligibility for the course is only through the JEE Examination. Application Forms, Application Fees, Application dates all the information are available on this college website:- iiitkota.ac.in. There is a reservation benefit in the fee structure and at the time of admission. There are two main exams held in every 6-month semester 'Mid Term' and 'End term'. The admission process is good enough. Every possible information has already been shared with you through the website.
