Likes

Some classes in first and second year were in kshema and it was good
Clinical exposure and hands on training programs are present

Dislikes

Lack of programs and good opportunities to showcase talents
Classrooms doesnt have AC in paneer campus so its very hot and terrible during summer
Canteen is a bit far from our college it is almost impossible to walk during summer

Course and curriculum was good overall. Areas for improvement would be a bit more opportunities for programs and talent shows. Compared to other institutions we had less programs as we have clinicals and a 100 percent mandatory attendance

Internship provided with many benefits like experience in procedures, clinical exposure, learning many new things whixh definitely would help in the future . Opportunity to interact with many people and learn

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year the tuition fee has an increase in certain percentage. I havent applied for any scholarships so im not thorough with it. My complete cost of education excluding the hostel would come around 4-5.5 lakhs including every other things such as curriculum add on course etc. many financial aids and scholarships are available to the students

Campus Life

Campus life for us Bsc nursing students are an utter boring life. We are more concentrated on the clinicals and theory so there were not much of an enjoyment. Sports and other activities are present but it is not very greatly encouraged.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is ok but not the best . Upon our arrival in our first year we had a three sharing room and a common bathroom for the entire floor. Talking about the food , it is not their best strength. Those who opt to stay outside do have a lot of pgs and apartments available for rent. Many good mess facilities are also available here

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Admission

When i took the admission back in 2020 it was done directly thru the website and we didn't have any entrance examination then. The application can be done thru the official website of Nitte university

From Classrooms to Clinic : My College Journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Good Intership.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is covered by theory classes as well as the practical hours, clinical posting time will be change in each semester. As for the exam each year is consist of two semesters, and each semester have two IA exam which coming up of the end semester eaxm. The difficulty of the subjects is based on how each student is will approaching the subject. As my experience of 3 years I felt like that the subjects will be get difficulted in each coming semester. And most of the subject will be having practical exam section which includes the osce section, which helps the students to improve the self confidence and good maintenance of interpersonal relationship. The 1 IA will on 3nd month of your semester starts and the 2 IA will be 1-2 months after your first IA anthe final end semester exam will be on the 6th month after the semester starts....

Nursing Journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always wanted to do a professional course and I choose to nurse because it's a challenging yet rewarding profession. The faculty is well qualified and experienced with newer teaching-learning methods. I'm not quite sure about the student-to-faculty ratio. Exams are held annually. It really depends on the student but you have to do your part responsibly to make the most and learn.

An in-depth review of college facilities and faculty from admission to campus life

This college gave me a scholarship as my mother teaches at Nitte University so I got a half concession in my fees. This college has collaborations with many others colleges like malaysia ect. Most of the physiotherapy colleges start their admission soon after the 12 board exams, since this course does not require any additional exams to be qualified a person much get his admission as soon as possible as the seats get full very fast. Every college has almost the same fees but the admissions close very fast due to the high demand of this course in the recent years. To get an admission in this college we have to submit our 10 and 12 marks card, birth certificate, aadhar. You should have over 60 percent marks in your 12 boards to be eligible for this college....Read More

I choose the 3,4 college in my family decided to choose this only . Because in my cousin also choose the nitte engineering college that's why my mom choose the nitte. And comparing to other it is near to us I didn't got any rejection because I choose only this college First we apply for admission through the online pay 300 ? for application when we fill the application. We going to KS Hegde hospital for admission first installment we pay the cash for 80000 then we give to the cheque for second installment 80500 .
