Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Since I am first year student my opinions are based on 1st year experience. Curriculum is good and it can help you in practical exposure if you connect and learn. Medical College classes like Physiology, Biochemistry and Anatomy I think we need practical exposure like learning with cadaver and specimen and also some labs so that we will have a great knowledge and will be easier to help doctors in assisting.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Since I am first year I don't have great knowledge in that, but our internship is for 1yr in our own college and some other hospital few kilometres away it has stipend till now it was 750 rupees. I think our interns had no holiday in their 6 month internship even on Sundays they have to go,but in 6 months they can take 6 days of leave but they have opportunity to extend their internship according to their leaves.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees in 1st year in 2023-27 batch is 133000 including University fee,but in 2&3rd year it's 130000 excluding the university fees to best of my knowledge.I think every year there is a hike of 10000. Scholarships are available, but I don't have any details on that. Stipends are available during internship it's just 750 rupees.

Campus Life

2

We have a well advanced Kshema Library, for me it's outstanding. We have Wifi and projectors in classroom but wifi is not that great. We have gymnasium, indoor stadium, basketball courts, football ground. No groups are seen as far as I am here. We had culturals, sportsmeet till now.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel according to me is below average for 99000 rupees, it's a very old building we were accommodated,in a room of 2 people 3 were accomodated, furnitures were rusted, flush was not working and contained disgusting blacky water,no exhaust fans.Food was good till the initial 6months later on it was worse for me. We were only provided room and furniture all other basic essentials were purchased by us only. In the online site of college we saw good hostel but the reality was we were taken to old block of nursing hostel. Network is fatal,Wifi is fatal. We were told to pay the entire amount of a year together at once so that we are forced to switch in this hostel.

Admission

Eligibility was scoring 50% marks each in 12th standards PCBE subjects. Admission process, application form everything was completely online,it's fee was around 750 rupees and date was between April- May to the best of my knowledge. I don't know anything about reservations. Exams n all are completely intellectual it's based on your ability to learn and your interest towards subject. In online portal they don't encourage much details about the college, they will only give more details after paying the advance. And you will be told to pay advance like 60000 rupees within 7 days to block seats,so it may be confusing and worrying to take a decision within short duration with lesser knowledge on course, college and since it's completely online I felt a little more nervous to take the next step.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.

Curriculum is covered by theory classes as well as the practical hours, clinical posting time will be change in each semester. As for the exam each year is consist of two semesters, and each semester have two IA exam which coming up of the end semester eaxm. The difficulty of the subjects is based on how each student is will approaching the subject. As my experience of 3 years I felt like that the subjects will be get difficulted in each coming semester. And most of the subject will be having practical exam section which includes the osce section, which helps the students to improve the self confidence and good maintenance of interpersonal relationship. The 1 IA will on 3nd month of your semester starts and the 2 IA will be 1-2 months after your first IA anthe final end semester exam will be on the 6th month after the semester starts....

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always wanted to do a professional course and I choose to nurse because it's a challenging yet rewarding profession. The faculty is well qualified and experienced with newer teaching-learning methods. I'm not quite sure about the student-to-faculty ratio. Exams are held annually. It really depends on the student but you have to do your part responsibly to make the most and learn.
