Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course since i wanted to be in the medical field but didnt want to do mbbs As being a dentist is more relaxed comparitively compared to mbbs doctors The course is divided into four years and one year of internship which is total of five years.The scheduling of the course is very well thought but in some aspects there is older technology still being used but at the same time there are advanced technology being used in other aspects as well The curriculum really does prepare you for the real world and there is a smooth transition into the real world Teaching methods comprise of projectors practically learning learning by doing lectures workshops The college could improve by using better materials in the UG level but the better materials are being used in internship The exams are conducted with good frequent enough gap between each exam and is of medium difficulty according to me
Internships Opportunities
The college itself provides internship in which you recieve a monthly stipend of 5500 rupees but this value will vary as few years back it was only 3000 rupees. The timing for intership over here is 8 am morning till 4 pm and includes all the subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of mine is 4 lakhs per year for 5 years including internship.There is scholarship based on marks that u get.Every year if you get above 70% in the university exams the scholarship of 25% on the next year fee is availed.If you had gotten 90% above in the 12th there is 25% off on first year fees.Other than this there is National Scholarhsip Portal which you can do online get 50000 rupees per year this helps the people who have low income category.
Campus Life
There are plenty of events in my college comparitively to other colleges.Every year there is cultural festival of 4 days called as Renaissance. Other than that are many other events such as sports day Awarness campaign events and other intercollegiate competitions.Most of these events are held around the time of March onwards.There is a very big library in this campus one of the biggest in the country probably and has vast selection of books and I use the library most of the time personally to study for exams and is very effective.
Admission
The application is process is pretty simple where you have to go to the college with the required documents and you will need to write the NEET entrance exam with certain cutoff (cutoff varies every year) to get admission in the college and you will need to enter through MCC in online for application to choose which college you want. The application fees was 2 lakh 5 thousand for me as deposit in which 2 lakh u get back after u get seat in the college.The scheduling of all exams and timing of all exams were very nicely thought by the management according my personal experience.According to me the admission process was smooth and I would not bring any changes.
