- Some of the faculty are very well reliable and inspiring.They make extra effort to guide students properly.
- Different kinds of foods, grocery, stationary are available in the campus.
- Freshers party is conducted for new joins and department fest is also conducted for each.
Dislikes
- Unnecessary subjects are part of curriculum for which valuable time of the students may be wasted before they realize.
- Unproductive tasks like writing of lab records, assignments manually.
- When a fest is conducted large number of people will come but the campus is not spacious enough, so some people may feel congested
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the B.tech because of abundant jobs in tech field. The first year will be mostly waste of time because the freshers can't get a better idea of programming, so the curriculum includes some unnecessary subjects like Physics,sports. Practical approach is more preferable for this kind of course rather than theorotical.Unrelated subjects can be removed because they think of pseudo benefits but in reality there is less or no benefit. The mid exams including objective exams are conducted twice per sem as per new regulation and the questions are easy enough to answer with basic idea of corresponding subject.
Internships Opportunities
The college will inform the students starting from 2nd years about both campus and company internships available. For the campus internship the student needs to write a test. In campus internship candidate needs to work on the college websites.
Placement Experience
The students of 4th year 1st sem are eligible to participate in in campus placments.The reputated companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra and other small companies recruit students and generally offer packages like 3.5 to12 LPA. The highest package is 10-12 LPA.In 2021-2022 almost 80% of students placed but now,only 15 to 20 percent are placed. I plan to get a job in a software company with decent reputation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for IT/CSE is 2.6 lakh per year.The merit scholarship is available upto 75% based on student merit. The complete cost excluding the scholarship is 10.4 lakhs and it may vary based on the scholarship.The other fee like CRT should also be paid at end of 2nd year. Merit scholarship of 25%,50%,75% of total fee are basic amounts and available to all sudents with specified exam score. Campus Recruitment Trainning is conducted to place the students in jobs.The campus employment oppurtunities are gradually decreasing.
Campus Life
The overall experience till now is not bad but boring, even with 3 or 4 major fests per year. Almost all books related to curriculum are available in the library along with recreational books,newspaper,magazines. There are 3 buildings present and Some classrooms don't have Air Conditioners,so in this aspect one may feel like it's not worth the high fee paid to institue.Some LED screens are fixed recently in each classroom. Sports are mandatory for first years which somebody may feel unnecessary.There are clubs like music,dance,NSS,NCC,yoga etc.
Admission
The admission process was quite simple and there are details about this specifically in the college official website also. Students need to complete the intermediate or polytechnic to get admission. There are seperate rooms for admission section and one can easily find those because the the info is displayed on small banners or we can ask by calling the number mentioned in website. Scholarship is based on the merit but not on reservation and they consider best score out of EAMCET,JEE,Intermediate marks or entrance test conducted by college. The test is conducted for interested candidates once and candidates can decide the time within college working hours.This entrance exam is available for a specific period of time.The difficulty level of test is medium. I don't like that the apllication fee is Rs.10000
