All about nit Warangal

So in mechanical engineering 1st yr ,we have classes going on from 9am to 5pm on regular days while Saturday and Sunday are holidays. Most professors are highly qualified in their field . Our 1st sem includes 6 theory courses and 2 lab sessions.All courses are updated as per new education policy. We get very good clarity of concepts through digital visualization and lab sessions. Our courses usually have 2 minor exams(30 marks) ,1 mid sem exam(30marks) and 1 end sem exam(40 marks) . For improvement i will say that some courses are still not updated with respect to current market demand ,so it needs to be updated.

Tata project internship - stipend around 15 k per month. Technip energies - stipend around 12k per month Tvs motors - stipend around 25 k per month. So mostly for internships , eligibility criteria involves 7 cpga with no active backlogs.

So placement of nit Warangal is very good. For mechanical engineering students, average package is around 15 lpa . More than 100 offers comes every yr. Last yr highest package was around 32 lpa and lowest around 6 lpa .for mechanical engineering students, companies like tata ,bajaj ,itc and some psu comes every yr Every yr around 95% students gets placed. So my plan after degree is to get a placement in core sector.

Tution fees- 63000 per semester Hostel fees -14000 per semester Mess fess - 14000 per semester 21000 per semester tution fees for students having family income lies in between 1 to 5 lacs. 0 semester tution fees for students having family income lies below 1 lacs.

So we have our annual cultural fest called spring spree which occurs at 1 st week of april every yr.we also have technical fest call technozion which occurs at 3 rd week of January. We have a central library which opens from 9 am and closes around 8 pm. We have all sports facilities available like badminton court, tennis court, football and cricket ground, table tennis court etc.

So in our 1st yr we get 1.8 k ultra mega hostel. We have to share our room with 1 person. We are provided with 1 study table . For mess we have breakfast around 7am to 9 am , lunch from 12pm to 2 pm and dinner from 7pm to 9 pm . We get different food on every other days. Quality of food is decent but sometimes mess becomes overcrowded. For hostel registration,we have to fo it online on our nit Warangal website.

To get admission in nit Warangal,you first have to give jee main exam. After completion of exam ,if u have cleared it then u have to go to josaa website for college and branch selection. After you got your desired college and branch . After doing this ,u will get an enrollment letter from dean academic of nit Warangal then u have to follow registration process of college . For mechanical engineering, opening rank is around 10k and closing rank is around 17 k for general ews students.the admission process is very smooth and i find no difficulty in it .

For college admission we don't have any interview.we just have to give jee main exam and if someone got desired rank for that branch then he/she gets. Although in our 3rd yr ,we have internships for that we have these gd round and online test etc.
