Course Curriculum Overview

The course is basically divided into 8 semesters. The 8th semester completely is the internship where the students go to the hospital and works as a responsible staff or similar kind. The first semester starts with Anatomy & Physiology as combined and also similarly Psychology and Sociology. The nursing foundation is also a main subject in the first semester. In addition the semesters are added with subjects like English and nursing informatics in each semesters to provide better and quality education for the students and prepare themselves for exams like IELTS and OET. Each semester is 6 months duration long which helps the students to learn each subjects very thoroughly. The teachers and staff are also very friendly. The semester end exams are usually out of 75 marks and along with that a mark out of 25 is added as Internal assessment. The exam duration is exactly 3 hrs in pen and paper mode.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is provided by the college itself and each student will be getting getting stipends based on the college policies according at the end of every month. The money will be directly transferred to the students account based on the details given at the time of registration

Fees and Financial Aid

The 4 year course requires around rupees 11 lakhs for the competition of course. Each year there will be small hike in the tution fees and hostel fees. The tution fee per year is rupees 1.75 lacs and hostel fees 1.03 lacs per year which includes the food and mess charges. There are no scholarships provided by the college side but all students can approach a genuine bank for educational loan if you fullfill their criterias for the loan sanction. The internship students usually get stipends at the end of each months

Campus Life

The college usually has a 1 week long cultural fest along with annual day and it consists of activities like sports, arts fest, club activities and much more. Typically they are held in the month of February. The college has a well furnished infrastructure along with a full court football and volleyball court and cricket ground. The class are fully digitalized with good furnished chairs and tables. The college also has an auditorium fully air conditioned. It has a library which can accommodate 100 students in each batch at a same time. It has over 2000 books and a Veriety of journals. The college also has various clubs like musimatic, language and literacy, hobbies, sports and so on.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are available as both two sharing and three sharing rooms. The rooms are big enough for 2 students if two sharing is adopted. It has all the facilities like table, chair,cot, cupboard etc.. . It is light entering and cool in terms of temperature. No private bathrooms are provided but the hygiene of the common bathrooms are really very good and attractive. The meals are pretty good here , they provide both veg and non-veg . Each day students can have a good variety of foods. Once you complete the admission process you can directly go to hostel for registration based on the availability of the rooms. The hostel is exactly within 1Km radius from the college

Admission

The admission process was very practical and efficient. The minimum eligibility to apply for the course is 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Subjects. Once you fullfill these criteria you must register yourself for the entrance exam which is called the NUCAT. It is an online entrance exam which lasts 2 hrs of duration. It consists of all multiple choice questions from physics chemistry and biology. First of all a student should register themselves for the entrance on their website with mail ID and phone number. Once the test is scheduled it will be notified through the mail. The exam is a moderate level test based on the puc syllabus. The admission is based on this entrance rank list and the first NUCAT 100 ranks will be given preference. Anyways if you qualify the test you have the chance to get admission in the college

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is covered by theory classes as well as the practical hours, clinical posting time will be change in each semester. As for the exam each year is consist of two semesters, and each semester have two IA exam which coming up of the end semester eaxm. The difficulty of the subjects is based on how each student is will approaching the subject. As my experience of 3 years I felt like that the subjects will be get difficulted in each coming semester. And most of the subject will be having practical exam section which includes the osce section, which helps the students to improve the self confidence and good maintenance of interpersonal relationship. The 1 IA will on 3nd month of your semester starts and the 2 IA will be 1-2 months after your first IA anthe final end semester exam will be on the 6th month after the semester starts....

I've always wanted to do a professional course and I choose to nurse because it's a challenging yet rewarding profession. The faculty is well qualified and experienced with newer teaching-learning methods. I'm not quite sure about the student-to-faculty ratio. Exams are held annually. It really depends on the student but you have to do your part responsibly to make the most and learn.
