NIT Warangal - The best place to learn everything.

The mechanical engineering curriculum at NIT Warangal is a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. Covering diverse areas such as Automobile Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Machine Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, System Engineering Design, and Thermal Engineering, it equips students with a holistic understanding of mechanical principles. The emphasis on hands-on projects, workshops, and internships drew me to this course, allowing me to apply theory to real-world scenarios. However, there’s room for improvement. Strengthening interdisciplinary integration and fostering collaboration with other departments would enhance innovation. Additionally, more industry interaction through guest lectures and internships would bridge the gap between academia and practical skills.Overall, NIT Warangal’s mechanical engineering curriculum prepares students for both further studies and the challenges.

Coming to internship opportunities, opportunities not so well in NIT Warangal but placements were excellent in NIT Warangal. Company came for internship for mechanical engineering are Johndeer, Reliance, TATA, Exxon Mobil, TVS motors, Bajaj... Etc average stipend offered was 30 -40 thousand

From 5 th semester we are eligible for internship until 6 th semester we can try for internship in NIT Warangal, comming to placements we are eligible from 7th semester until end of 8th semester we can try for placements in our college. Almost all major companies visits our college like TATA , Reliance, Amazon, Flipkart etc. Getting placed is very easy in NIT Warangal if you are really interested on getting placed.

I my opinion fee NIT Warangal was vere reasonable because we can use our income certificate for getting financial aid it will reduce 1.2 lakhs fee per year if your income range in between below 1 lakh and hostel fee ,other fee need to be paid by Every students it is around 17 +17+ 11 thousand per year.

As a mechanical engineering student at NIT Warangal, my campus life has been a vibrant blend of academics, social interactions, and extracurricular activities. Our annual technical festival, **Technozion**, held in December, celebrates innovation and technology. The cultural fest, SpringSpree, takes place in April, featuring music, dance, drama, and art. Our central library boasts an extensive collection of 1,79,797 books and 110 journals (20 foreign and 90 Indian). Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and audio systems. Sports facilities include cricket, football, basketball, and tennis. Student-run clubs cover robotics, coding, music, dance, and entrepreneurship. NIT Warangal is not just an academic institution; it's a vibrant community where friendships and learning thrive.

Coming to hostel double occupancy in 1st year to 3rd year in a room. Single occupancy in final year per room for a Btech student. mess meal was worst in our college but we had a option to eat out. In my opinion eating out side campus is best. NIT Warangal are best compared to rented rooms.

I got around 16k AIR in jee mains, I'm from Warangal so I had a dream to study in NIT Warangal so with my rank 16k I got civil engineering in 1-6 round in counciling then with my reservation (OBC) I got Mechanical engineering in special round. The application fees for these entrance exam (jee mains) was around 800 rs at that time in 2020.
