Course Curriculum Overview
Well, I had statistics in my 12th grade and it was really easy I enjoyed solving statistics sums, which motivated me to take statistics also since I'm from the commerce field it's a cliche to take B.Com or BBA I didn't want to be the usual cliche so I took statistics to stand out. The curriculum is vast and it is not enough to face the real-world problems. They can cut the syllabus a little and make sure what they teach is actually nested in the students' minds. The exams are pretty easy and the time between them is alright
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was 18250 when I started and it's 18750 now in 3rd year. So the fees haven't changed. But for to avail of campus placement we had to separately pay 1500, in my opinion it isn't really worth it. There are scholarships which students can avail but I don't think we have enough knowledge about the available scholarships.
Campus Life
We had DIVA, SMRITHI they are the only 2 big cultural events we have apart from it we have interdepartmental programs, and that's it. There's a vast range of books available in the library. We are allowed to play sports only a couple of months before spots day. There are no student run groups or clubs in the college.
Admission
The eligibility criteria was to have studied mathematics or statistics in 12th grade. The application form and other details can be found on the official college website. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. We have CAT(Internal exams) twice in a semester, it is moderately easy if prepared well. The college could improve on how they communicate about the application status and the process
