We have an excellent regulation called the R-22 which was introduced in the year 2022.The regulation focuses on real-world learning rather than just writing down the answer on the sheets. some aspects of the curriculum which stand out are target based assessments. 60 internal marks are decided based five target assesments where each target is assessd twice in a semester. Target-1 (written test), Target-2 (implementation of the question from target-1), Target-3 (Presentaion and documentation of work from target-2), Target-4 (objective examination) , Target-5 (Assignments). Only improvement i wish is that for each target-5 , four written assignments are to be submitted which is 8 in total per semester for each subject which is really hard to do. For every 45 working days there will be target -1 exam and followed by other targets within 2 weeks of time .Once two cycles are completed final semester examinations are conducted.

Internships are provided to students who are experts in specific domains . They are selected through multiples rounds of written tests, interviews and project reviews . The role offered is only a junior developer who works under an expert from the university. The internship mostly focuses on the development of the college portal , its maintenance . Currently a mobile application for the college is under development . Another role is a teaching assistant , who works under a faculty and assiting them in terms of student guidance , Lectures in the absence of the faculty , Lab incharge.

The students are eligible to placements once they complete the 5th semester. Some of the companies that visited are Tata Consultancy services, HCL, Tech mahindra, etc. Each company makes around 50 offers. The highest package in the recent years is 19 lpa by the company Lowes. The median salary is between 3.5-4 lpa. Around 70 percent students get placed. And rest of them goes to higher studies. I plan to get a high paying job.

There are two categories pf seats available . Category-A , in this category the fee is fixed of 2,60,000 inr and Scholarships are available to this category. However For category-B the fee is 3,00,000 inr and no scholarships are applicable. Early admission is the only way to get a category-A seat. The tution fee is always fixed for the categories there will be no hikes at any cost. The complete cost of your education can be around (2,60,000+5000+1000) . 5000 is paid every odd semester from 2nd year onwards. Scholarships are availabe as per state board marks , jee or jee advanced rank , eamcet ,. Best scores can land you in 75% tution fee scholarship. Campus provides employment to students as teaching assistant with a stipend of 8000 per month for 4th year students, and for a field expert internship roles are given with stipend of 15000 per month.

The campus life is vibrant and engaging. There are events and fests quite frequently . Vignan Mahotsav is a cultural fest which is held every year for 3 days . This includes sports, arts , cultural competitons with participants from all over the country. The Srujanakura is a national level techinal fest. This gives opportunity to every bright mind to present posters , projects , ideas. A 24 hour hackathon is held with total cash prizes upto 60000 inr. The library is quite large enough and holds a lot of journals and books. Each classroom is equipped with a smart board and central ac's. The Pysical education department runs the sproting events and every year university level competitions are held. For every 1st year student it is mandatory to take the physical test and clear it to get a credit. SAC is the student body in the college which runs all student related activities. All these things have a huge impact on student life making a better college experience.

The admission process is quite simple. Firstly one can find the proper instructions at vignan.ac.in. The college offers admissions in various departments. Preliminary criteria is to attend the vu-sat exam which is mandatory to anyone. Eligibility of any course includes 65% score in 12th grade. The application form is available online and fee can be paid online . I have done this offline through my intermediate college where the forms were available . I prefer offline procedure. There are no caste based reservations as per my knowledge. However sports quota seats are available. Vu-sat is conducted multiple times thorugh online and the test is around 3 hours having questions from maths , physics and chemistry. The examination experience can be improved due to poor interface and slow response during the exam.

There was no group discussion held. However a written test was conducted on physics , chemistry , maths. The topics are the same as state board and central board of 12th education. The test is objective type and is of 3 hours. Once vu-sat is written one can go to the campus with all score cards. Based on the performance seat will be alloted There is no special preparation required . Since this exam is conducted at the time jee exams parallel preparation is done.
