Remarks

Law faculty doenst have good infrastructure and ya few adhoc and guest faculties would give a big blow to your expectations.

Entrance Preview

DU law entrance law is the most upcoming field. There was just an entrance exam and no interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is one of the best in country and so are the faculties but every semester there are few adhoc or guest teachers who are sometimes not up to the standards of DU.

Internships Opportunities

You have to search by yourself for internship and lawyers hardly pay!!

Placement Experience

Placement are decent and good job opportunities bit most of the students go for litigation or judiciary.

There are various moot court and local sports events and also there is a annual fest of faculty itself.Apart from that you have whole DU to explore.

That is the best in DU. Your are hardly charges 7000 per annum that too including examination fees. No extra charges at all.

Su campus life is no doubt one of the most happening in whole country. You have all the options like sports clubs gyms health facilities etc in campus itself. This the place no one would ever want to leave.

Getting hostel in DU is like a lucky draw exactly I mean what am saying.very few sits and I would rate hostel facilities as 4stars and food 4.5 stars.and ya don't expect hotel like luxury but yes its the best in campus and around.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very good and helpful. Even after 10 years they live there alma mater.

Exam Structure

Semester exam every December and may. Sits very usually and nothing new.

Delhi University bringing a diverse opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

Curriculum in law faculty is based on bare acts and case material provided by faculty itself. Study is totally case based and very comprehensive. I choose law after graduation because I find law very interesting subject and it is very interesting.

Decent college for five year law

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good for the real world applications as the course teaches us about the practical work. They can improve their course by adding more moot court practices during the semester and by giving the students the opportunity to practically utilise the bookish knowledge they are gaining.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

Placement Experience:

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.

The Best Law College in India

One thing that is common to almost all the public educational institutions is that they have good faculty members and bad administration. It is somewhat similar for the faculty of law. The teachers are more than great but when it comes to the administration it may be a little troublesome. Generally the problem arises in the delay in getting ID cards, case materials, library cards, examination forms, admit cards and so on. But this isn't much of a trouble since there are helpful seniors who are always there to help you. Also, the people in administration are also not so rude and are pretty student friendly. My overall impression of this college being myself a first year student is much more better than I expected it to be. The faculty has great facilities especially in the new building called the Umang Bhawan (for Law Center 1 and 2). It has elevators, spacious classrooms, a seperate moot court hall, parking facility, canteen, and a huge open space in the backside....Read More
