I was a NEET aspirant. As Covid struck, I was unable to write my NEET exam, so I was searching for a medical course which has a good scope without writing NEET. When I got to know about Physiotherapy, which helps people in restoring their life from disability, I thought this course would be good for me as I wanted to help the disabled people and make their lives better. After I started pursuing the degree, I found the subjects a little difficult in the early first year, but after some days, I was adapted to the curriculum, and the teaching staff was very supportive in every stage and problem we faced. In our college, from the second year onwards, we will have clinical postings in the multispecialty charitable hospital there, so we will get the patient exposure right from the start. Regarding exams, we had 3 internals and a Final exam, but now, as the curriculum has changed to the CBME curriculum, it has become semester-wise exams while we had Annual exams.

In Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy, there will be a compulsory 6months internship in the Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital which is the teaching hospital of the NITTE UNIVERSITY. Our college has the MOU with the University of Santo Thomas, Philippines for the student exchange program during the internship.

Coming to the fees structure of our college, while i got admission the tuition fees was 1,15,000 per year and exam fees was separate which is not included in the tuition fees. The total cost of tuition and other charges for the completion of my study was around 5,00,000 for the college fees. All government scholarships are available, like NSP, SSP, and minority scholarships. There is no campus placement as such, and there will be no stipend during the internship.

There will be good numbers of programs and festivals are celebrated in our campus. The cultural and literal competitions between the classes will be held during October-November. Right after that, sports day will be there for two 2days. There will be a happy and enjoyable environment during the festivals and programs. The Navaratri festival is celebrated on all 9 days of the festival by having a dress code and a competition and cultural program on the last day of the festival. In our college there is well equipped library with all the books required for the reference along with other journals. There are more than 3,000 books in the library and online copies of the books are also available in the library. Within the classroom, we have smart classes and mics and speakers for proper audiovisual classes. Inter-collegiate sports competitions are held within the campus.

The eligibility for the course is that the student has to score at least 65 percent in PCB in PUC. During my admission, as the COVID situation was there, the admission process was online. The admission process was smooth; we had to fill out the online application, and they responded very quickly. Once we submit our documents online, our seat will be reserved. I don't think there is any problem during the admission process. the college staff are very kind, and they respond very well to ant queries during the admission process
