Course Curriculum Overview
All the courses which are offered by our college are well organised and they are in detail. Each course has specific outcomes which are helpful for practical applications of the subject. In the first year all the branches have the same subjects and from the second year onwards we will enter into core subjects.
Placement Experience
Every year NITW is top among all the NITs in placement stats.But due to recession in the IT field the number of placements has been dropped this year. Approximately 60 percent of students placed in all the programmes.The highest package was 88 LPA. My plans after graduation is doing job.
Fees and Financial Aid
So for the students without any reimbursement the college fees is 125000 per year.At the starting of each odd semester they 10000 other fee which includes fests and other medical aids. People who are above 5 lakhs should pay total fee 1-5 lakhs- 41666 <1 lakhs to 0 Students who excel in academics will get merit scholarship.
Campus Life
Apart from students college has scope for many extra curricular activities.There are many clubs and associations which helps in students all round development.Clubs will be hiring students by taking interviews. Many events will be conducted by clubs and associations where students actively participate.
Hostel Facilities
Firstly the hostel fees is 34000 per year.In my case I am final year so they have given 1k hostel to me.Mine is single occupancy . 1,2 years will be given another hostel. Despite paying so much amount on hostel the maintenance and service of the hostel is below par.Many students even hesitate to use the washrooms
Admission
Firstly to get the seat in the college we have to clear JEE examination which is conducted by NTA. The exam difficulty is off moderate to hard. After getting rank in JEE we have to attend JOSSAA counselling which is conducted online.From this we get the seat into college. A special round CSAB is also conducted for students who didn't get seat in JOSSAA.
