Infrastructure of college Is too much good and modern
Air conditioning room is nice to provide all class

Very much strictly campus , much freedom is not given to students
No recreational activities to students since there is no playground or any other free space in the campus
The area of the MSW campus is far away from the university campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The course has made its curriculum in a simple manner even considering students of other courses who opts MSW course after other undergraduate programmes. It is easy to grasp the subjects and the semester starts in a beginner level. The curriculum also provides field work for students in each semester .

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The course provides fieldwork facilities in each semester of the course. In the first three semesters the field work agency will be decided by the campus and the last fieldwork agency can be self chosen by the students. By this the students can gain a practical knowledge and a real world experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

There structure provided by yenepoya is very affordable and cheap compared to other colleges. Other colleges usually charges about 1.5 lakhs onwards. The first year fees only comes to 50000 rs and the second year comes 25000. It is very cheap compared to other self financing colleges for the same course.

Campus Life

The campus life in the college is not much good and strict also they don't support program organised by students even culture programs and sports meet not even participate for msw dept there no proper ground and recreation activities for students

Admission

The admission process was easy , only the nee applicants need to apply through the college website . An application fees of rs 1000 should also be sent with it. There is no special entrance test for the admissions. The course is going in a semester wise pattern with a total of 4 exams on each half yearly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

iam sure this is only the couse that we can work with communities and social worker serve the people with humbleness. it learns to how to mingle with society, how to face the society and how to take challenges in positive way. improvement areas are field works, some students are not attend field work properly faculty has check with organization heads or HOD. Everything is good if students learn for exam. no difficulties in any exams.

The curriculum will help me good but the thing is iam doing in masters in social work dept it means theory should 50percent then practice knowledge should be 50percent but the thing is heare we sare not getting any field workonly for5days Camp in the 1styear rather than that we didn't getting any field work from the department.Actually I took these course is I need practice based paper so I need to involve with the people with involvement I can learn from them what are the problems are facing by them actually I need I really like to study about people's problems but here we are not getting any field exposure to learn.My suggestion is for department they should conduct a field work in week atleast 2days should be their for field work pratice department should take the students.They should follow strictly on the syllabus becouse as per syllabus department should provide us field work in some places mentioned in the syllabus.ThenI asked to teacher then he replied to me you know kannada

Unlocking the Real World: CUK

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some papers need to be updated and should include topic related to current issues and more discussions are need to be conducted in the classroom that improves the critical thinking of the students. For Social Work course field exposure is very relevant and important to increase the knowledge of the trainee. But the department is not providing any field exposure to the trainees according to their specializations. The only field experience students are getting from the one month block placement/ internship, but that is not enough for the students.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students become eligible for campus selection and students are given support from the faculty members to join certain NGOs to work with. This makes the students develop their skills and learn new things by working with them. Students often end up working with these NGOs after finding the experience with them as productive. But Christ doesn't have many placements for the MSW course.

It's one of the good university in India

Remarks:

The university atmosphere is very nice and tge The university atmosphere is very nice and the and the Structure of the university is really awesome. The March and April time weather is not that much good, very hot around a 45° celsius hot. The administrative section Is not properly working.
