Beyond the Classroom Walls.

My intrest in working with computers paved the way to choose Computer Science Branch. Regulation followed in Vignan University is R22 Regulation. In this regulation, Internals are conducted for 60 marks and Externals are conducted for 40 marks. For Interals, Everone should undergo 2 modules. Each module is divided into fiva targets. They are T1, T2, T3, T4, T5. T1 is written test. t2 is implementation of T1. T3 is presenting t1 in the form of IEEE document and PPT. T4 is multiple choice exam and T5 is Assignments of each module. Summative assessment is nothing but External evaluated for 40 marks. I didn't like this curriculum as knoledge gaining is reduced and more time wasted for continuously writing of tests. Exam time is too limited to write test.

Vignan university provides various internship oportunities for students. All interniships are done in online mode as the college doesn't allow students to go off campus. Only after seventh semester student can go out for offline internship. College suppors students to do projects by allotting Inter department project as a Course in the curriculum. So that every student atleast do one project.

Students can participate in placements after the completion of 3rd year. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Delta, Cognigant, IBM, Techmahindra visit the university for campus placements. 4 lakh package is the average package and 46 lakh package is the highest package that Vignan Students get. 75 percent of students get placed in every year. I will apply for jobs in campus placement drive and planning to get a job in software sector.

Tution fee per year is Rs. 2,60,000. Extra charge of 2,000 and 100 are included in the first semester of every year as a part of Training and group insurance. Psychology, hospital needs and library fees are included in 2,60,000 tution fee only. They won't charge any other fee. Hostel fee of Rs. 1,00,000 is charged and provides room, mess facility, doctor, ambulance facility and much more. Merit scholarships are provided for students based on their 12th marks, JEE marks and EAPCET rank. Vignan University provides employment as Research Scholars, Lab Assistants and more.

Fests like Mahotsav (Cultural), Srujanankura (Technical fest), department fests, Freshers day, Farewells and much more. There are thousands of Books, Journals and Research papers available in Vignan University. Labs like Computer labs, Physics labs, Chemistry labs, labs for Civil department are many other labs are also available. Smart boards are available in every class room. Sports like cricket, volley ball, basket ball, table tennis, kabaddi and more. SAC, ECell are some of the clubs and NCC and NSS are some of the activities of Vignan University Students.

Rooms in my college are spacious and organised. Menu is Ok but food is not no good and unhygenic for health sometimes. Minimum fee of 5,000 should be paid before joining in the hostel itself and can pay based on the students financial status. Fee can be paid all at once or can pay semsterwise. Hostel is located inside the university premises.

To study in Vignan University, Everyone should write V-sat Examination. This is the entrance Examination for Vignan University. Exam is can be written both online and offline. Students can chose one of the mode to write the exam. application fee is Rs. 1200. Application date may vary every year. Candidates can choose any date to attempt exam. 'Vignan.ac.in' is the official website of vignan university. Cnadidates with inter qualification and V-sat exam applicant can write the exam. University considers Inter marks, Jee score and Eamcet ranks are considered for admission. Based on their scores merit scholarships will be provided. V-sat exam is a multi-choice exam with 2 hours duration. Exam includes 5 sections. They are Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English and aptitude. As per my opinion Admission process in Vignan university is quite appreciable and doesn't need any modification.
