Student:- the crucial phase

I chose bachelor of engineering under the domain of computing reason being the scope of future it has in it. Students from different courses such as mechanical, civil and electrical end up getting hired under an IT sector. Hence computer science plays a vital role in today's world. The curriculum followed in our college Is very much based to real life scenarios. They tell us how these codes are to be applied in a particular scenario based questions. These are reflected under the difficulty of the question paper the college makes especially for the computing department. However students should have much more self learning time for themselves to concentrate and learn much better rather than to attend college everytime just for the sake of attendance.

There are various companies visiting our college to provide internship opportunities such as ZOHO, Adobe, etc under the domain of coding, marketing and HR as well. In order to get and intern they ask for projects as well

Our college has good on campus placements. Many various companies visit our college and hire people. However it also depends on the student and his capabilities leads him to a better placement job. Our college has reached an average package of about 5.5LPA and reached the maximum package of 53LPA. The total percentage of students getting placed are about 80-90% approx. My personal plan after getting the degree is to get into the defence force or shall choose the cooperate life.

Since I belong to a private college. The fee structure of my college reaches great heights. They set an point of some amount and consider it as a base fee structure. Further, they start to hike there fees as the number of students get attracted hence applying the marketing strategy.

Our college has good infrastructure though. The campus life at my college Is pretty much explorable and much intresting. Also the events conducted here are meant to be enjoyed. The fests here are worth attending it as they invite celebrities as well.

So, the eligibility criteria for the course I opted for was to score above 60% in PCM subjects. I visited the college for the admission purpose and filled the application form there itself. I took admission through management quota. My fees costed about 3,50,000 per year. I wasn't provided any scholarships since I wasn't eligible for it and other scholarships were availed. The intake of students by the college were in large numbers. Also now when I sit in class, I feel there are many students those who aren't fit for engineering nor they can clear it.
