What Students Say

Likes

It is a very vast university and there are many places to visit in our free time .
Very good faculty and a vast library with many resources.
Many canteens available and various variety of food available.

Dislikes

Some what irregular classes due to faculty various works .
There are buses for hostels and for day scholars autos irregularly are available.
Moderate hostel facilities like food is okay and rooms are also okay

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose information technology course through eamcet.This is very useful course and the faculty are good. The facilities like lab are also good. I prefer choosing this over ECE. There are some areas needed to improve like regularly classes .

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 63000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was a total of 63000. And we have to pay all at a time. There are availability of scholarships. Like JVD where AP government provides full fee reimbursement for eligible students with financial status below 1 lakh per annum.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in Andhra University and campus life is very good with a beach nearby where you can visit in free time . Very nice infrastructure like many facilities in lab and all. Super Library .

Admission

The admission process at Andhra University was very cooperative. People with cutoffs are eligible to join. There are also other admission ways like AUEET. Go to direct principle office for admission process.

1. From third year second semester students become eligible for college placements. 2. Companies visited are Cisco, Infosys and Accenture they are combined gave around 121 offers. 3. The highest package is 36 lpa and the average package is 7 lpa and lowest package is 3-5 lpa. 4. The percentage of students got placed are 80%. 5. My plans after getting college degree is to get a high paying job in a reputable company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
