Course Curriculum Overview

3

Ciriculum is just a way to gain a theoretical knowledge ..I am very much interested in the food stuff v eat and I always wondered how each stuff as specific process that's what inspired to take this course .. more than theory practical knowledge is essential for an student to gain more learning experience.. teaching methods shd be more specific on the subject n procedure tht is useful for jobs and detailed study of each step exam shd be conducted with a week so that students will read with a same interest for all the subjects

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities is available for our own students and other campus student in our own campus ,. Project on jackfruit and seaweed and other stuffs are in process and also I think it be quite useful as a learning and job seeking experience

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is more as it is a private management and as the facilities increases they do increase the tution fee .. including all the charges the cost might come upto 185000 There is no scholarship I hv got.. no campus employment

Campus Life

4

There are many cultures and fest once in a month atleast to keep us refreshed.. the range of book are of high advance techniques and facilities of classroom are good sport and extracurriculum is great there are many social group like green committee library committee student council ... And it helps to build leadership quality

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Facilities in hostel there is a attached bathroom with 2 sharing cots and fan and .. there is cupboard and fan and people to clean room alternative days and 2 lady wardens to supervise meal is quite good Direct and menu is set for a week registration for hostel in campus and affordability is quite expensive

Admission

Admission process was through online by a potal and eligibility criteria was to secure 60% minimum .. application form will be sent through nitte portal application fee was 250 and dates given to fill application was 7 days no reservation benefits. I applied for msc as I was in my bsc 6 th sem so I found it quite difficult to manage ... Suggestion for admission pls look after the admission period and dates .. extend it

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.
