- The only discouraging factor is mess food . They should review and provide non veg food also
Course Curriculum Overview
The cources are selected by the faculties although the college comes under VTU university. The syllabus for first year will be basics of all baranches and no electives. From 4th sem we will enter into the core subjects of department, there will be continues evaluation and experiencal learning.Every month there will be a test and at the a sem end exam.
Placement Experience
The placement in our college is at par compared to other colleges. The placement in our college is about 99% and the remaing ones tend to go for higher studies. The Companies that come for recruitment are Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm and others. The highest package bagged was for 60 lacks and the average salary is 12 lacks.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the college is 99,000 as mentioned earlier. this will include all the fees and yearly 5000 exta for exam fees which we have to pay during beginning of the semester. There is a scholarship called as ssp which is given state government.the amount is 18100 for one year and you have to apply every year to get scholarship.this is only for OBC students and SC ST students.
Campus Life
The campus is 49 acers in area located outside the bangaore and there metro station nearby and 18 KM from the main city. The campus has library which is open upto 9PM everyday. And two playgrounds and 1 auditorium. THe clsrooms are spacious and have screen and board and are good enough. there 12 social clubs and technical clubs.
Hostel Facilities
I stay in hostel . The hostel provides two people per room . They provide chill water for drinking water and hot water for bathing which is provided all over the year. They provide only veg foods in the hostel Mess and the quality of the food not bad . The Registration process for hostel is very simple and straight forward. They only provide to those who come in early.
Admission
the admission is done through exam called KCET for those who are reciding in karnataka and for those who are outside have two write COMEDK to take admission. The cuttoff for my cource in 2021 was around 2500. There will be reservation for the students in karnataka. The exam is held once a year. The counselling is done by KEA and that will happen in 3 rounds.
