Engineers learn everything except engineering. Practical learning is nil. And the best part is professors don't give damn about it. Some professors are experienced and you could talk to them about competition exams but most of the professors just have to time pass of their own. Research initiatives as far as I'm the concern they don't have taken any initiatives towards it.

For the non-core, the college provides the internships but for core branches like electrical electronics, you can't expect internship you have to manage yourselves like in plastic branch top 2 rankers go to Thailand and another top 2 go to Mumbai. I have no clue about the average stipend because it's my third year and internship will start from next year.

Placement is only good for particular branches like chemical paint Mech and etc. In the paint, 100% placement is there. And in other branches that depend on the basis of your performance. Exxon Mobil, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Samsung, Honeywell, Amazon, Adani Wilmar, and many more. These are what I recall right now. Average package is different for different branches like the case has 4 laps..paint has the 5-6 lap.

The cultural fest is odyssey technical fest is zest and there is no managerial fest that I can think of. Odyssey organizes at a great level and the fund is around 10 lacs and zest also has around the same of odyssey. College authorities just have to grasp all the money into their pocket and sometimes they create difficulties for cultural Secy to organize odyssey.

Well, this is something that is very awesome about the college is that their fees are low if you are studying in HBTI Kanpur, not the university like I have entered in this college when it was HBTI Kanpur and it is 51730 tuition fees and 36000 mess and hostel fees.

Yes, our college provides a scholarship for students who have an annual income lower than 2 laps. I don't avail any because my father is in the government sector so I never applied for it. Actually, college fees is Not that high that's why students don't seek any kind of loan further I don't have much information about it.

Yes, I m residing in the hostel. Well from first to the third year there are 3 people who shared the room and then in the final year, you will get single rooms. The hostel of the first and third years are awesome and other years are not that up to the mark. And for boys, the first year hostel is on campus and the rest of the hostel is like 3-4 km. College doesn't provide pgs for students don't want to live in the hostel after the first year. Students have to find that on their own. Food taste and quality are variable and mess and hostel fees are 47000 including both. Food is sometimes good sometimes bad. You can't expect a constant taste.

Alumni are good as far as I have interested with them when there was an alumni meet. There were many alumni who were at an awesome post and you can learn how to manage yourselves so that you can also achieve the same. Yeah, somewhere alumni help in providing internship to students or maybe the job. Many alumni bring their company to our college to provide jobs.

Some faculties are qualified more than you could think like some faculties are working on their research paper and one faculty is having their 2 patents even. One of the faculty has won the award for their research. So you can expect qualified professors from this college.
