I love mathematics so no issues. We only have theoretical knowledge. We don't have any lab so practical learning is not possible. We don't even have any projects so how could this college take the research initiatives.We are only booked worm.

Internships Opportunities

No internship was provided by the college. So no experience. We did not get an opportunity to get this experience. Only if i had an experience i can explain it. We are only booked worm.

Placement Experience

Am a final year student and yet I have not faced any interviews.No companies have visited till then during this year. Companies like IBM and TVs and other small companies had visited in the past. Average package is 12,000.

College Events

Nothing was healthy. I did not like any events. The organization and the authorities contributed their best.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of this college is 6000per semester. It provides a concession for high marks in HSLC exams. It also provides free seats for many students.

Fees and Financial Aid

During the 1st year of my degree college provided me 25%concession for my high marks in HSLC exam.

Hostel Facilities

I don't know much about the hostel but I feel that the hostel atmosphere is too bad. Not many students stay in the hostel. I have heard that hostel food is worse.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, every during the second weekend of July they conduct the alumni meet. I do no more about this.

Faculty

The faculties are mostly freshers, they are not that much experience. Sometimes they are friendly and mostly they clear our Solita. Some staffs way of teaching is good and others are a little bad.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is a famous one and it is studied by many higher officials. The faculty is very good and talented, students ratio is 500:900. All teachers were educated by Ph.D. and each teacher has their own capability. Exam papers are very good and were easy to pass the since where questions were interactive.
