Course Curriculum Overview

4

I just have interest in this field like in journalism and mass communication . And the course curriculum covered each and every thing from very basics to advanced. Teaching methodology is also good but ni consistency was there in taking classes. They donot take classes regularly. And Sometimes they took 3 hours per day(each subject )just to complete the syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

4

Well internship was not given to everyone. Hey just told everyone to have intership by your own as there was some marking based on our internship experience. Otherwise they will be giving you some projects to complete it by the help of you faculty guide. As I was there for Bachelor in journalism and mass communication I accepted the projects and made a documentary film with the help of my team and my faculty guide.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship was provided to me to be very honest no exams were taken for the admission. Anyone can take the admission directly. The admission fee was rs7500 ( at my time 2020-2023). And the fees per semester it was rs18000 . Fees vary for different courses. It might be increased as well. No placement was allotted.

Campus Life

5

Every festival was celebrated like republic day, Saraswati Puja. But the only function in which we all students had fun is our college annuall function AAGMAN. In the month of November every year We celebrate it with so much joy. Faculties were so co-operative, they help students at every step. Overall i would say it was a good decision to choose this college. My classmates and faculties made my college life memorable.

Admission

For BA(JMC )....no pre-requisite requires. Everyone can opt for this course who really shares some interest in journalism. Application form is available at College website and you can directly call as well for enquiry, help line number is mentioned on the website itself.

Placement Experience:

Final-year students are eligible for the placement. Companies like HDFC, Vivo, etc. visit the campus and offer packages up to 16 lakh. The highest package offered was 16 lakh and the average package offered is 8 lakhs. Around 70% of students get placement from the campus. This college does not provide master's degree courses therefore I would be applying to some other college outside the city for my master's degree in the same course.
