Course Curriculum Overview
BA hons. in BHU is a 3 years course in which exams are conducted semester wise i.e. every sixth month. As psychology has practical application, two exams are conducted for it one theory and other is practical exam. Well equipped laboratories are there in BHU for psychology practical and faculty members are the "Drona" of their respective field. Difficulty level of exams is quite high but if you pay attention in classes you can easily tackle them.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for 1st semester is around 2200/- and for 2nd semester it decreases to 325/- only. For the next year fees gradually decreases. BHU gives scholarship to meritorious candidates who secure first and second rank in the institution. Also several scholarship by state government is there for the candidates, whose details can be fetched at "scholarship.up.gov.in"
Campus Life
Campus life here in BHU is quite amazing. Huge campus and trees gives an awesome feeling to campus walks. Security is great and allows you to go for late night walks in campus. Sayajirao Gaikawad Central Library, BHU Cyber Library and several Department Library consists of lakhs of books of various subjects. Many students clubs are there for the holistic development of the students. Debating club, quiz club', music and poetry club all are present here. University Sports Board is responsible for conducting several sporting events.
Admission
All the class 12th passouts are eligible to take admission in BHU to BA hons. course. To take admission in BHU all they need is to give an entrance test CUET conducted by NTA. All the details regarding admission process is available at cuet.samarth.ac.in website by NTA for undergraduate courses. Reservation benefits are given to the eligible candidates as per the law states. If you are targeting BHU for BA course all you need is to give General Test and a language test in CUET.
