My honest review

I chose this course because I was interested in chemistry and because my course is applied chemistry, it helps us to deal with applying chemistry knowledge in real life situations, in other words there would be lab work more compared to the theory. Honestly I had a problem with the professors speaking in native language in the class initially which was looked after and changed. I had very knowledgeble professors.

Other students of my class got a scholarship named JVD. I didn't because I belonged to a different state and that too students whose parents were working for government are not eligible for the scholarship. So it was quite hard for me to pay 77000 all together as tuition fees. I reside in the hostel for which I had to pay 6500 as hostel charges and then every month 2700 as mess fees which is compulsory.

We actually have a public Library which is very beneficial for us but sadly we had to wait long for the book we wanted because someone else has borrowed it. There are very less clubs compared to our other campus which provides a lot of clubs. We had sports and department day every year and flash mobs. These were some of the events which helped us to work in groups and understand our classmates better.

I reside in the university hostel and to be honest I am not happy with my hostel. The washrooms are not clean and the rooms are small in which compuslory 3-4 girls has to accomadate. There are other hostel campus as well but they are better than my hostel building. I have no complaints related to the food we are provided because it is okay and you cannot expect mess food to be like our home food

To apply for my course, there is an entrance exam on university level named AUCET, through which I got a seat for this course.The exam was not difficult at all, it was just about how good are your basics in that subject, there was no negative marking, My rank was 108 but it took 3 counselling sessions to get me a seat because I am from a different state and because others are from a reservation category
