A perfect college for engineering

Overall Nirma University is good based on my suggestions as by comparing pros and cons. It’s good if you want to join for studies but if you’re looking for extracurricular activities then this should not be your first option not because it doesn’t allow it but because the course curriculum is designed such a way that you won’t get time for that. Overall college management is good.

This college was ranked 2nd for E&C engineering. Moreover this college was offering 100% campus placement opportunities and in the end it turns out to be true .hence I choose Nirma University at the first place. Also the faculty members were highly educated. And the campus of Nirma University is like foreign university

The course curriculum offered by Nirma University is exactly same as foreign universities. It provides wide range of courses for bachelors degree so that students can master in as many field as possible with latest technologies. Nirma provides curriculum and courses along with projects associated with each subjects so that students gain practical knowledge

Yes Nirma University provide internship for 6th and 8th semester. 6th semester internship is for 1month it is compulsory and for 8th semester internship is not compulsory but if you’re provided with internship then you may get the stipend depends on the company you’re interning

In Nirma placement and job opportunities are varied. Wide range of mass recruiters like INFOSYS and TCS come to nirma for placements also the MNCs like Future first, MuSigma, Morgan Stanley. More over other companies like NXP, einfochip, NVDIA, Intel , oracle are the main focus of students to join and provides high package

For the first year students there are lots of events like orientation, mr & miss freshers, mr & miss nirma, vaudeville, horizon and ifest. There are other events too where students can participate those are individual club for each department which organises many technical events of their department where students can show their technical excellence

Fee structure in nirma is expensive as it charges approx 2.5 LPA for BTech so that poor and middle class people won’t be able to afford it. However nirma provides financial aid based on merit to top 50 students every year. But it’s tough to get that financial aid.

Yes nirma provides scholarships based on merit to top 50 students every year. They also provide scholarships to students who come under ST/SC quota based on merit.

In nirma there is no hostel for students perusing bachelors. They have to accommodate themselves off campus only. For masters there is a Hostel facility which is quite good and also the mess food are awesome and can have the variety of tasty food. Campus life in Nirma is pleasant.

Nirma University is 100% anti raging college. Seniors are helpful with every stuff like books. Also helpful with managing extracurricular activities with studies. Nirma also has alumni network known as AlmaConnect.

Nirma takes 3 test per semester. 1st test ie class test will be after 2 months of curriculum starts. 2nd ie sessional test will be in 4th month of the start of semester and then the final exam will be in the end of semester. 30% of each class test and sessional exam will be counted for final results and 40% of final exam will be counted in final result.

For the 1st , 2nd and 3rd round of admission process i didn’t got admit from this college then there came a spot round for which we have to go to college and register for it then they prepare a merit list of all the students who registered for it and they a lot the remaining empty seats based on their merit.

All the faculty members are highly educated with the and Masters degree with lots and lots of research work and is with industrial training. Moreover, they’re very helpful to teach any students who doesn’t understand for the first time.
