The campus is good . There are lots of trees and plants in the campus . The cafés and canteen is good. There is gym, basket ball court , soccer ground etc…..

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in medical field, so I chose this course. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on semesters. we are supposed to prepare by ourself for the academics and all the curriculum. Along with our academics we are scheduled with other course duties if they had focused more on our course it would have been more helpful to us.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared to other medical colleges this college has less fees. I have heard of the scholarships but sorry I have no idea about it. Msc medical microbiology is of three years and the fees is 2lakhs for 3 years (excluding exam and other service fees) There is no stipend awarded for this course

Campus Life

Annually there is a sports day and a fest for 3/4 days . The college infrastructure is good. It is eco - friendly . The facilities and the technologies are good . But still they need to improve it . Extracurricular activities are helpful

Admission

Admission process was not that complicated. Course eligibility is bachelors degree. Application forms are easily available and also the details There was no entrance exam during the admission. During admission the people should tell the details about how the course is and how the academics will be during the the course.

excellent in acedimics

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was very much intrested to be a scientist when i choose biochemistry because its one of excellent bioscience subject to pursue the carrier as good scientist and complete the phd in bio science field 2.I would say for further acedmic carriculum like to pursue phd and to complete bioscience related competative examination will be clear by just following acedimics but am not saying it will prepare for you to a real world . 3.teaching methods is excellent as i mentioned earlier but problem is they only stick to acedmics apart from that they didnt prepare for real world problem job getting moto that is problem 4.exams level of difficulty is mediatory not high or not low as of my knowledge but other say it very difficult exams nobody able to score more than 70%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time
