The course was very easy to understand but most of the time i feel it is very difficult and the faculties was very loving caring and understanding students they will clear all the doubts within itself the curriculum was so good it is easy to understand and there is no worry in curriculum as well as faculties

In our course there is opportunity for do the internship at outside like banglore and kozhikode that is the best option for internship but i do look at yenepoya itself it will more safe and easily we can work and understand our course

Fees and Financial Aid

Since optometry there is less fees looking into other courses we have to pay admission fees as 51000 and each 6 months we have to pay 40000 so overall 8 semester are there and i got scholarships 2 times i was so hqppy about that they are not taking extra charges only exam fees are taken

Campus life is so beautiful i have to travel 2 hours but now i used to it,it is so relaxing and very calm there will lot of functions in campus and it is so beautiful and we enjoy a lot all the functions are taken care by faculties and some of pur students the best campus life iam enjoying it well

Admission

Admission process was very easy at that time because it's a time of corona and i was not went to college i had a friend and he was done by all i started preferring radiology but since there is no seat and only left in optometry course I started looking into and i took in other colleges there were had this radiology seat but i want onlt yenepoya so i took this optometry course

From Classrooms to Clinic : My College Journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is covered by theory classes as well as the practical hours, clinical posting time will be change in each semester. As for the exam each year is consist of two semesters, and each semester have two IA exam which coming up of the end semester eaxm. The difficulty of the subjects is based on how each student is will approaching the subject. As my experience of 3 years I felt like that the subjects will be get difficulted in each coming semester. And most of the subject will be having practical exam section which includes the osce section, which helps the students to improve the self confidence and good maintenance of interpersonal relationship. The 1 IA will on 3nd month of your semester starts and the 2 IA will be 1-2 months after your first IA anthe final end semester exam will be on the 6th month after the semester starts....

I've always wanted to do a professional course and I choose to nurse because it's a challenging yet rewarding profession. The faculty is well qualified and experienced with newer teaching-learning methods. I'm not quite sure about the student-to-faculty ratio. Exams are held annually. It really depends on the student but you have to do your part responsibly to make the most and learn.
