- I liked the computer labs very much.The system sre pretty good and the lab is very clean and well maintained
- Classrooms. I liked the classrooms very much,they l classes has good screens and air conditioned.
- Restrooms/Washrooms. Yenepoya provide a very neat and tidy washrooms. I think they clean it twice a day.
Dislikes
- Some of the faculties are very rude. Especially my class Advisor. The guy is very strict.
Course Curriculum Overview
To be honest I lost every expectations i had before joining this course.I thought there would be more practical sessions than theory classes. I am disappointed to say this, I feel like they are focusing more on these theories "which some topics are outdated" rather then theories and real world experiences.
Internships Opportunities
Their website says internships are given to students from second year onwards. But I didn't see any students doing it. I think we have to find internships on our own.But some courses offer guaranteed internship after first year itself like kalvium courses.
Placement Experience
From the Last semester onwards the students will get campus interviews.Many company's representative will come and conduct interviews. Most of them are small not that well known companies. Some the companies are IBM,TCS,Wipro etc In my knowledge the maximum Annual package is 500000 rupees My plan is to work for 2 years and after that I'll do my master's.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course is BCA (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics and IoT)in assosiates with Microsoft First Semester fee - 95000 Second Semester fee - 75000 Third Semester fee - 75000 Fourth Semester fee - 75000 Fifth Semester fee - 75000 Sixth Semester fee - 75000 Total fee 475000 If you have more than 90 percentage in 12th then the fee will be 375000 in total
Campus Life
In my opinion Yenepoya Deemed to be University has the best infrastructure in Mangalore in terms of facilities. All the classes are fully air conditioned.All the classes have a big screens to teach and a good sound system is also connected to it. WiFi is also available for a certain price. Their computer labs are large and they got good systems in theirs labs. They conduct fairs and festivals time to time like sportsvmeet ,freshers day ,Halloween,Onam Celebration etc. The only problem is we don't have a big campus.Even though the inner infrastructure is excellent,it's just big building.Only good thing is the campus is in the heart of the city.
Admission
Admission process was pretty quick actually. I just had to submit some documents and fill some forms and that's it.Before the actual admission process I had to pay them around 26000 rupees to confirm my seat in college.
