- There a lots of books in both the libraries to study from.
- Infrastructure is great. There is a canteen, different labs, a huge hall where events are held, even the classrooms themselves are big.
- My Geography faculty is itself excellent with great teachers and Geographical equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview
I already had my interests in Geography, so I chose this subject as my honors subject. I have exams within next week and I can say, my department has prepared and helped me pretty well. They taught very well and have provided all the necessary notes and study materials.
Internships Opportunities
We are supposed to have a internships organised by IITB and IITA. I have taken up Web Designing as my choice of subject to study under them. They might give a stipend based on our overall performance.
Fees and Financial Aid
Asutosh college falls under Calcutta University, hence, the fees for each of the course is very low, compared to other college, especially the private ones. For example, my admission fees was only Rs.8240 which is completely for 1 whole year. Hence it is pretty advantageous for someone to get in this great college
Campus Life
There are numerous events. But since I joined the college this year itself, I only know the following - every faculty has its own Freshers event, my Geography faculty had a Reunion event in 2023, which happens every 5-6 years. We celebrate all other events included in the calender. There is a main library, we have also got a Seminar library, having all Geography books. My classroom has a projector, table has equipments for light tracing and several instruments and samples of rocks and lots of maps. Even internet-department sports are held and other similar extracurricular events. Besides a Union club, having members from all departments there are several other clubs.
Admission
The admission process had gone smoothly although my name came in provisional admission list after long time. Yeah, I agree getting admitted is tough but if you are a great student, you will surely get into Asutosh College. Eligibility is basic - you musthave more than 50% marks in your classes 10 and 12. You can find the application form in the website of Asutosh College itself. There is no entrance exam for this college.
