Course Curriculum Overview
I myself from Asutosh college…What can I say its a goldmine often overlooked by biased,non-flexible mindset type of people. Firstly those days r over when you had politics,demonstrations at frequent intervals.Having said that Asutosh college still remains the breeding ground of modern-day politicians and policy makers. Besides Asutosh college’s legacy perhaps this is the only college where you can deveope “Bangaliana” be it involvement in bengali rock bands or giving auditions in bengali serials. My CV states that I’m from Asutosh and trust me it generates a lot of interest in the employer’s mind during interview. And I have often heard that students of Asutosh college are not only good in academics but also rough and tough its indeed true—i can assure you that. Lastly location of Asutosh college is extremely idealistic as u can hop the metro and hit off to park street/college strt or take a bus to zoo/national library or just walk idly to Nandan and please dont miss the momos.
Internships Opportunities
Students get opportunities to participate in various workshops which helps to build knowledgeable. At the end of the course, many companies visit the campus on specified dates for campus interviews. Students of all the departments get an opportunity to participate and also get a chance to secure a good job by going through the interview and selection process.
Fees and Financial Aid
Although the fees are high. It is approximately 80000 per semester. The syllabus is provided by Calcutta University. Faculties are great. Many of them have graduated from IIT also. Their teaching method helps everyone to clear the semester as well as the JAM exam also.
Campus Life
is a good college no doubt. But , the level has degraded over years due to politics . People do not go to college most of the days. You may give it a try but there are much better colleges in Kolkata. Infrastructure are so great , humanities block have ac classroom, and still it renovating , environment is good for studying
