- College is boys only that restricts any girls admission which is disadvantage for them as they miss out on such good academic chances
- No proper sports and extracurricular focus does feel like we are missing out more than students of other colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very academically focused along with focus on cultural activities and programs and several seminars which are course related. Though not much scope of extra-curriculars like sports,drama, etc. The reason I chose this college was based on the academic focus given by the college and especially the professors and their teaching methods being very interactive. Exams are conducted timely with mid semester and end sems for odd semester conducted in September 1st week and December 2nd week respectively. While in march and may 2nd week for even semesters. The difficulty of exams is moderate and they are very much based on your application understanding of the subject.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is 17000/- per year for the course of bsc microbiology and computer science while is 13000/- per year for other courses. Along with 4000/- per year of exam fees. College may provide small scholarships for the financially challenged students in some cases as well. Hike in college fees is not much and usually seen to be around ?500/- at maximum.
Campus Life
Overall campus life is very disciplined and focus is more on cultural aspects rather on other opportunities for sports and others. Though annual sports in conducted every year. Library has every type books that you may require over the course. The college restricts on any student run unions or groups.
Admission
The entrance exams according to subject which are of moderate level. Selection based on entrance test score along with aggregate board marks. Application can be found in the college website around mid of the month May. Entrance test is offline and taken around mid of June. Admission requires offline verification done around July 1st or 2nd week.
