Course Curriculum Overview
Microbial world has been existing before human era and hence it was a great opportunity for me to know this world and many interesting cell cycles and to know about our ancestors. The benefit of doing this course is that as the current situation of the world is critical and during the covid waves the microbiologist have helped us in a much larger aspect. In the upcoming years more these viruses will be encountered and then microbiologist will again save the world. The faculties are good, and they teaches so well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well there is no such increase in the fees structure and there are plenty of scholarship opportunities available in this college . The fees is 17000 per year and 4000 for per semester exams total 21000. Nationwide scholarships are inspired here like SVMCM and inspire scholarships. Unfortunately the campusing opportunities are low like tata institute.
Campus Life
The cultural aspect of this college is just mind-blowing. This college respects indian culture and all the events of indian cultures are held here like youth day, shivaratri, eid etc. Annual sports day is also held. NGO camps and NSS camps are held by our college students. Smart boards are available in every classroom. Extracurricular activities like yoga, singing , dancing are also cherished here.
Admission
Well, the eligibilty of the course requires the marks of biology and chemistry and you have scored in your class 12 boards and you have to give an admission test based on the syllabus of class 12 on biology and chemistry, I would prefer you to read NCERT and WBSU books for passing the admission test. The test was of 1 hour and to apply for the admission test. You have to visit the college site and apply for b. Sc. Hons course and apply for your desired course. Then you have to fill up the details necessary for your admission and pay rupees 300 for your admission test. The cut off for reserved candidates ar seperate and minimized than the general candidates. The difficulty level changes per year so if you are lucky then you might get an medium difficulty level. But if you have understood class 11 and 12 it would be like bread and butter. 30 eligible candidates are selected for admission and the process of admission is good.
