Jain University- My experience

The course is very interesting like I had expected and the faculty is very helpful to study. Self study is more preferred and none of the faculty spoon feeds information. One disadvantage would be that the faculty doesn't promote extra curricular activities and are more keen over attendance

As a second year I haven't any encountered any internship opportunities still. But it is said that we will get many internship opportunities by the end of third year. The faculty is very helpful and refers many places to apply

The placements in aerospace department is not very satisfactory. Every year five or six students get placed for a satisfactory package and that's it. The field lacks good placement in core companies but there are tonnes of opportunities in IT fields. So we are adviced by our teachers from time to time to learn coding and other computer languages for better job opportunities.

Without scholarships you'll have to spend a hefty amount of 15 lakhs for 4 years including hostel. The course fee is 250000 per annum and hostel fee is 125000 per annum. Including the extra expenses you'll have to spend a bit more. But compares to other private colleges, this is an average amount you'll have to spend to study aerospace engineering.

Many clubs are available in Jain university, including academic ones as well. Cultural club is very active and organizes programs such as the annual festival. But the problem is that's it. No other programs come in our way for an entire year which is boring. Auditions are conducted every year for selection into these clubs.

The hostel management is not very supportive and the food is not excellent but it is edible and tummy filling. The menu includes roti and rice for preference. The taste is mor of like subjective. Many like it and many hate it. I'm more on the neutral side. If you are a fan of flavour full food, the canteen food is not for you, it's more on the bland side

The admission process was easy and convenient. As a student, I didn't require any external help to complete my admission procedures as the university itself was efficient. I had to undergo an online entrance test for an hour before the admission. The university also organized a brief counselling session.
