Good college culture and social life in college.
Good faculty members and teachers. Good learning process
Good campus, with everything separately available in different blocks.

Dislikes

Placement is not good. Not every student who apply for placement gets placement.
Bais faculty members and teachers who are only good with some favourate students.
Strict rule. Cannot use phone in campus block.

For economics the syllabus is similar to CBSE board ,those who studied economics in 11th and 12th it will be little easy for them. Teaching methods are also good, assignment can be difficult in 3rd year.

Companies like dshaw, delloite, mc kinky and other companies come for placement in the college. College also provide internship options for PR post or HR post, under the PR officer or HR officer. Students can avail it.

Fees and Financial Aid

For students who studied from State board it is less than the cbse and and other state boards.I payed ? 40000 for my course. To study language as addional english we need to pay ?10000 extra and rest is same.

There some festival such as North east food festival, Cultural festival, DJ night, intra class sports every year. About the infrastructure it is small ,only one play ground in the campus, 2 canteens , 2 basketball courts.

Application form is available on the website of the College,no reservation ,no exams for BA cource only interview,ask for good students who performance are good in achedemics, sports enthusiast and other co curricular activities.

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
