Dislikes
- The college doesn't have a very good campus.
- Attendance for students are not compulsory.
- There are not many lab instruments present.
Course Curriculum Overview
Bsc in botany has many scopes in real world. You can pursue the field of botany in research purposes or may switch to other research fields like bio tech. Course curriculum and teaching methods should be more inclined towards practicals and research work. Frequency of exams are of 5-6 months of a semester and difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
I really didn't know much about information regarding this field. But as I heard from my seniors that they attended some internship with sudha company(exactly don't know the location) and some other companies which provied research work.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. I frankly don't know about all the companies visited but one in the hype was TCS which provided the maximum placement amount of 10lacks and mostly half of the students in the respective field get placement. I will opt for masters in bio tech after the degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are too much affordable and they also provide scholarship for obc, sc and at students having residency of jharkhand. Frankly speaking I only know about I scholarship. Till now I haven't undertaken any campus employment but the placement cell head said the many students from b.com got 10 lack package jobs.
Campus Life
There are fests and competitions that are regularly held in our college like youth fest, science day, holi samahro and many more on the list. The library contains a wide range of books for all depts and even the competitive books too. The facilities and tech provisons arw not upto that mark. Yes ABVP is a student concerned club and it works well for students rights.
Admission
I applied for the course through online portal on the basis of my 12th board exam result. Reservations are prevailed for sc, st and obc castes. The frequency of exams are 5-6 months and the difficulty level is moderate. Improvement in the admission process is required, according to me they should connect to the new admitted students and provide them proper information regarding admission and classes.
