The current tuition fee for BTech is 135000. The total cost that I'm paying every year is 195000 which includes tuition fees, hostel and mess charges. There's no such tuition fee raiser policy as it's a government institution so the fee hike completely depends upon the state government. The college is very deemed in providing scholarships and other financial aids to its students. One of the most popular scholarship for which the students are eligible is UP scholarship. Apart from this, university also provides tuition fee wavier seats in which students from backward backgrounds get a seat free of cost and they don't have to pay tuition fees.

The hostel facility is pretty decent. The first year hostel is 3 bedded that means you'll have to share your room with two other people. The girls hostel are all in the east campus where the all the classes take place while most of the boys hostel are in west campus( 3kms away from the main campus) leaving the first year which is also located in the east campus. You can apply for hostels in the beginning of The college itself. The meal quality is also pretty decent. They try to give you à nutritious meal as per the budget they have.

The admission process was based on jee score. Hbtu conducts its own counselling and students get admission on the basis of their jee score There are 3 normal rounds, one additional round and around 1-2 on spot counselling rounds. The application process starts every year after jee entrance examination. There are various reserved categories such as obc, sc and st. They get higher cutoffs as compared to the general student.
