BHU : a enriching experience

The course curriculum of MCA in computer science department of BHU is very relevant to the current demands of the market and technology. There are several core subjects that specifies we are being studying such as DSA, Software Engineering, Vkmputer Network, Block chain technology, Imge processing and in the last semester we are provided with opportunity to go for internship. The teachers are well equipped with knowledge for their respective subjects. They are helpful as well for any subject related problems.

The fee for MCA course in BHU currently is 7500 per semester for regular seat and 60000+ regular fee for paid seat. Hostel facility is available but with limited accomodation for regular seat students and selection is based on score obtained in entrance exam and distance from the house. For paid seat in South campus it is available to all students living there. There is a state government scholarship for the students of UP and central sector scholarship for all the students in which there is 20000 per year for PG students but selection is based on merit.

Campus life is very nice here. There is a great infrastructure of this University which is in about 1300 acres . There is a annual fest naed Akaanksha and spandan comprising of cultural events, and various other activities for next 3 days. There are 2 big libraries one is central library in which we have to show student passbook and avail this books. There we can get every range of books. There is one cyber library which includes all the computers with access to WiFi and fully equipped with AC . There are sports events held within institute level annually and monthly also there are very big and fully equipped playgrounds for every day play.

Master of. Computer applications is a 2 year post graduation course. Admission to this course is based on national level entrance CUET PG for eligibility to this course we have to be bachelor degree in computer applications namely BCA, Bsc-cs, Bsc hons-cs, Bsc-IT. To apply to this course the entrance has to be clear with a good score I have appeared in this exam in 2023 in which total marks was 200 outbof 400. I got admission to BHU in 3rd round on regular seat as I applied in EWS category. The exam level was moderate to tough where a good amount of mathematics is asked along with analytical reasoning and some computer and English portions also. This cuet pf exam can be found in NTA website where we have to select the course code SCQP09 something like that. The admission process was not very difficult just you have to arrange the documents as per given in the admission letter.
