Likes
- I liked the atmosphere here.. here you can explore many things and work upon yourself because Bennett gives you the freedom for it
- At the same time it motivates the students to work on startups and funds them if they like their idea
- Here I got many opportunitites for the things i liked, like video editing and film making.
Dislikes
- The strict 75% criteria from this year is the thing I didn't liked
- There should be more gap in exams.. it feels like you have another exam coming after 1 month after completing one exam.
- There should be another floor for mess since these 2 floors are not able to handle the no.of students.. Students usually stand in a long line for the food and sometimes they have to miss their classes because of mess food or leave the lunch that day
Course Curriculum Overview
I came to know from various other places and seniors that in this institution they will teach you things which would help us in future .. they focus more on practical knowlege..The circulum is decent according to me and works well with me. I think they should focus more on teaching computer related things rather than making the students study ECE and mechanics (my personal opinion) . The timmings of exams are okaish and the difficulty level is decent anyone who follows the class and study from the ppt slides can easily score good. I am a fresher but I don't know I thought this year went so fast because there was an exam every 1 month after. Overall their is not any major thing that I did't liked about the course
Fees and Financial Aid
The students are offered with scolarship according to their JEE score or Boards score..but the stundent needs to maintain a CGPA of 8 in order to maintain his scolarship else the scolarship will be taken away resulting an increase in their tutution fees..I am a student of 2023-2027 Batch and my total 4 years fees is around 21.5 lakhs including hostel charges (triple sharing + mess included)...I am in my first year and have joined a freelancing club where I get the opportunnity to monetize my video editing skills..and still exploring more
Campus Life
we recently had our college fest named "uphoria" which is a cultural fest and I think we will have another technical fest named "Zeeneva" which is going to take place in April..The fests are very nice and really good for students to relieve their academic stress..There are also a large number of Books and journals available in the library which you can borrow with your id card..the classrooms are completely air conditioned and each class contains a projector and a smartboard with bio metric and face id available for students to mark their attendace...There is also a lot of sports facilites like tennis, badmintton, cricket , football etc..There are a large number of clubs you just name it, giving a wide number of options to the students to exploore and take part.
Admission
The admission was just through a normal application form and I was admitted in the college on my 12th boards marks as far as I know we required atleast 70% in physics mathematics and any 1 third subject. They also took admission on basis of JEE score and also gave scolarship according to their performance in their class 12th or JEE results. You can find the application on their official website which is bennett.edu.in and get the application dates from there . They also have relaxation in admission criteria if the student is from a Defence Background, differently abled or belongs to SC/ST category. There is no entrance exam as far as I know I also got admitted on the basis of my 12th Score Card. I think they should take interviews of students as much as they can before admitting them in the college if there is not an entrance test
