Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very hardworking as nursing is a professional field and noble job. I think as students a lot of presssure is given on us . We don't get holidays except sundays and also we have go for clinical duty , if we do absent during clinical hours then we have to stay over and do makeup duty during vacation time. We only get 15days summer vacation which I think is very less. We don't get any semester break.
Internships Opportunities
Here we are having our own hospital named Kalinga Institute Of Medical Sciences where we get our intership oppurtunities. The intership is of 6 months and we get stipend for that. This helps us to get a good job experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
We get an oppurtunity of 6months intership in the last year according to our curriculum and we get a stipend amount of 7500 . Our course fee is quite high in comparison to goverment colleges. We are having good campus but college faculty is not that good.
Campus Life
Yes, there are many clubs and lot of social activities going here everyday . Our classroom are quite developed. There are good oppurtunities in sports and other extra curricular activities. Clubs are fun.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good but the accomodation is a bit congested . There are various options for hostel preferences like AC ,Non-AC, double bed ,tripple bedded etc. Our hostel food is better but sometimes the quality degrade. Overall our hostel premises is good and additionally we get washing machine and induction oven facility from their side.
Admission
There was an entrance exam called Kiitee Exam . There were all total 5 phases , the eligibilty criteria for appearing in this wxam was minimum 60% in PCB for both 10th and 12th class. The exam was of 2 hours . The admission process was quite good . The entrance exam was on online mode during our time.
