The overall view of my alma mater SKIT, Jaipur.

The college in it is very particular about it's discipline and decorum. The facults are well qualified most of them are phd holders and had done their masters from IITs. The curriculum is little outdated as the college is bounded to a university. The curriculum should be updated according to today's need and it's should have more practical approach than theoretical.

Internships from IBM and other companies is provided and the stipend vary from 0 stipened - 15k. Projects like student database, app development, quiz application etc helps for the campus placements.Projects related to database and algortithms, queries, sql also plays a significant role.

The students are eligible for the campus placement from their 7 sem onwards. Companies like wipro, congnizance, infosys, genus, etc. visits campus. Highest on campus package was 32 lpa and average is 4 lpa. The college claims of 100% placement.

As far as the college is affilated to RTU, there will be very minimal increment in thr college fees. The total fees includes per semester Rs49000 for tuition fee, Rs10000 for personality development, Ra 5000 for examination fees and Rs2000 for miscellaneous. Complete costs is Rs 66000 excluding accommodation. Many scholarshipa for economically backward student is there like pragati scholarship and more you can go through them on college website. However the college does not provide any scholarship.

The college have 2 major fests Pravah (Techno-Cultural) and Aaveg (Sports) they are held after the odd sem ends in the month of march-april. The college have a central Library well equiped with all the books , digital library, pcs and centrally air conditioned. There are well maintained labs for each program. Sports like basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, lawn tennis each have their specific court in the campus itself. Indoor games like badminton, table tennis, gym, carrom, chess, etc are also available. Almost every club is run by students only . There are differrnt clubs like Science and Technology, Robotics, Coding, Photography, music, dance, nss , etc.

There are different facilities in different hostels. Starting with the girls hostel there are two seaters and three seaters. One block have common washrooms and bathrooms on every floor. Rooms have almirah, study table and chair, duct facility is there. The other block have single rooms as well and attached washrooms are there in each room. The boys hostel most of the rooms are single occupancy and the other facilities are similar to girls hostel. The boys ac hostel have lavish rooms and attached washrooms, with study table, water quality is also maintained and it is luxurious. However meal for all the hostels is same. There are 4 meals provided and the quality is okayish. The menu hardly changes. And it is a lil overpriced for the facilities provided.

Applicant must have cleared 12th with pcm and given JEE Mains examination and applied through REAP councelling. Once the windows open they can apply on reap website, application fees is 250 and the date is after JEE mains April attempt. A 30% seat is reserved for management , 10% for outside of Rajasthan candidates, 2% seat for economical weak students with 0 fees , 10% for ews, 10% for obc, 25%for sc/st of thr remaining 70% seats. College is under rtu university there are three mid sems out of which two is compulsory and there is one end term every semester.
