Course Curriculum Overview

For course like geography honours we need more and more time but the time we are getting per semester is very less due to this we are facing difficulty in completing our syllabus and there are many practical work also so we need more time

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of course is not so much expensive. Students aid fund is available for some selected students which was provided by our university. In library you can work as part time they gave salary also for this.

Campus Life

Visva Bharati University is mainly focus on culture of Bengal all the events that will occur is particularly in desciplined manner no Bollywood song or any type of vulgar things. For self study library providing many facilities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not so much good. Meal we are getting in hostel is very low quality After admission process is over you have to wait for atleast 2 month for getting hostel. Registration process for hostel is through email.

Hostel Fee: INR 1800 per year

Admission

Admission was done through cuet entrance exam. In Visva Bharati University admission process is so traditional all paper work is still done physically an u didn't get much information about this university from other sources like social media handle

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because it has lots of scope in future to get a job and also it is a good subject or my National language. In this college lots of faculty has been given to the students. Well, I am also a new student but I can say that all teaching and non teaching staff and also the office staff are very humble to the students and they help us a lot. I am in B.A. 1st year student and lots of faculty has been given by our beloved teachers and office staff. The teachers are very humble by nature and the way they taught us is really mind blowing I am very grateful that I am a student of those teachers. In every 6 months, you have to give one semester examination and as I already told you that I am a new student and my exam is in February month so I do not have experience with the paper and how difficult it to pass but I can say you read properly you can pass the exam in Good marks.

A Peaceful, Culturally Rich Journey at Visva-Bharati University

I chose VBU over other colleges because of its peaceful campus, strong language programmes and unique academic environment inspired by Rabindranath tagore's vision. I had also applied to JNU and EFLU, but after careful comparison I found VBU more aligned with my learning style and personal goals. The UNIVERSITY offers a more focused and supportive setting with smaller class sizes and close student-teacher interaction which is ideal for studying a language like Japanese. The admission process was conducted through the CUET( COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST) . The eligibilty was 10+2 with a valid CUET score. For Japanese VBU considers marks of either ENGLISH or GENERAL TEST whichever you get higher marks in.
