- Crowd- the people here are engaging and helpful
- Locality- the locality is quite and peaceful with every necessary items available
- Transportation- with good metro and bus connections you don't have problem traveling the city cheaply.
Dislikes
- Professors- apart from some, most of the professors can be unhelpful.
- Sports- the college ground is too small and there is no other parks nearby
- Campus life- campus life can be non existent if you don't get the hostel with no means of physical interaction with others
Course Curriculum Overview
Course relevance-8/10 Teaching methods-6/10 The courses included in the curriculum is well designed to prepare us for the real world scenarios. The teaching methods are somewhat lackluster manly due to the professors involved. Either you can be lucky and get a good professor who will help you or there might be professors who will completely ignor you.
Internships Opportunities
Getting internships in the college can be difficult unless you are very skilled in your field. The main focus of the placement cell is getting people placed rather than internship. Hearing from my seniors it is not best to run around internship.
Placement Experience
The college placement is good when compared to the private colleges in Bangalore. The college offers both placement and internship opportunities. Several companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, TCS etc visits the college. Highest package can go upto 40lac with average being around 10lac. The percentage of students getting placed is around 70-80%
Fees and Financial Aid
There are two mode of intake in the college so it comes with two feet structure- In KCET the fee is usually around 80k per annum with benifits to people with financial problems. In Comedk the fees is usually around 210k with no other benefits. There are scholarship available for students who requires.
Campus Life
The campus life is okay-ish. Due to being a small campus, it is difficult to find a hostel inside the college so either you have to look for a pg or book for hostel which is 5km away from the college, reducing your campus life. The college ground is very small so it isn't fit for much of the sports also it is occupied most of the time so you get rarely any chance to play the sports you like. The college has several fests namely UTSAV, PHASE SHIT and SHRISTI. Due to size constraints they are okay but a good place for cultural activities.
Admission
The admission process includes three modes- •K-CET •COMEDK •MANAGEMENT Since I Came through Comedk following was my experience- All the application form and application fees are submitted through the Comedk website, candidates have to yhen submit the forms requested by the college on seperate date. In Comedk there isn't any form of reservation apart from reservation for Hyderabad- karnataka region. Comedk exam is conducted every year which is of moderate difficulty.
